Cat getting its nails trimmed

Nail Trimming and Ear Cleaning

Your cat’s nails should be trimmed regularly to prevent them from getting too long, which can be uncomfortable for them to walk with and runs the risk of a nail getting caught in something and tearing or breaking, or growing and curling into the paw pad and causing an infection. It is also important to keep your cat’s ears relatively clean to prevent infection. Many cats won’t require much manual ear cleaning, but you should check their ears regularly to ensure there isn’t any wax or dirt building up.

What ear cleaning services does the clinic provide?

If your cat is having ear problems, it is recommended to see a veterinarian in case of infection. However, if this has been an ongoing issue that you and the veterinarian are aware of and you are just unable to clean them yourself at home to prevent further problems, we can book you in for an appointment with a technician to clean your cat’s ears for you.

What is clinic’s booking and cancellation policy?

Nail trim and ear cleaning appointments are usually booked with our veterinarian technicians, between 12:00 pm-3:00 pm Mon-Fri. We are often able to fit your pet in within 1-2 days. If you need to cancel for any reason, you can call us at 506-388-8880!
